MSTRKRFT and Mylo?
Anyone up to see another wonderous free show with your best friend, Colleen?? I have a +1 press pass to see MSTRKRFT and Mylo tomorrow night at Sonic Nightclub (270 Spadina Ave). be forwarned tho - the show is supposed to last from 10pm-6am!!! that's 6 in the morning! Ya, there's no way I'm staying that long. But it should be a good show i think... Here's the link to the place that's sponsoring it (I think)...I'm also supposed to be interviewing these guys. I have no idea what I want to ask them (haven't donemy research yet), but I love MSTRKRFT's stuff so it should be okay.

This seems to be the first example of fiscal conservatism that Republicans are supposed to be known for. During his adminisration the federal budget has grown dramatically and the government now has more power than ever before to intrude into the private lives of American citizens. How does he still count as a Republican?
MSNBC host Brian Williams has been in Israel covering the conflict there for several days and met up with a young Israeli artillery officer who was raised in Detroit, Michigan. Williams said "Speilman, who grew up rooting for the Lions (Detroit football team) and Tigers (Detroit baseball team), is now firing at guerillas he can't even see."

Elbow hurt
We're in Windsor this weekend. On the way down we picked up my cousin Shannon in Cambridge. At about 10:30 we were just outside the Windsor city limits when traffic on the 401 came to a complete standstill. A truck driver told us that a car had crashed at a point where the highway was only one lane because or construction, this made it impossible for a tow truck or emergency workers to get in. Everyone around us just turned off their vehicles and got out. We chatted with some guys young Sudanese guys from Toronto who were supposed to be going to Windsor for a wedding. Some people drove backwards along the shoulder about one kilometre to the last exit. A couple idiots tried to drive across the grassy ditch median only to get stuck. After an hour and a half traffic got going again and we finally got to grandmother's house.Last night I went with my sister and my older cousins Shannon and Stephanie to see The Devil Wears Prada, the new Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep movie. It was pretty good. But it typical Box-fashion I laughed at a lot of inappropriate moments which earned me plenty of disapproving glares and elbow-in-the-ribs. Happy endings are boooo-ring! Nobody REALLY wants to see the protagonist make the moral decision and stay with her hardworking, but unglamourous, boyfriend. Nobody wants to see her following her dreams to the respected, but anonymous, newspaper job. I wanted to see her crushed and dispirited, DAMMIT! IS that too much to ask, Hollywood? Sheeeesh.
Baah.
Anyway, I'm going to Kingston tonite and I don't know when I will come back.
